For those with larger rooms who prefer the placement simplicity and sound of a full frequency point-source speaker, the NHT offers the T6 Tower system.
The T6 combines the Evolution M6 monitor with its own sonically and stylisically matched powered subwoofer, the Evolution B6 bass module. This tower configuration employs four 12" woofer drivers, combining high aesthetic value and full range response -- with output levels required to fill larger spaces -- in one package.
The T6 also offers precise sonic imaging through a re-engineering of NHT's signature technology, Focused Image Geometry. In earlier models, NHT employed this technology structurally, using an angled front baffle to increase the ratio of direct to reflected sound by focusing the musical information toward the listener and improving midrange response. The T6 accomplishes a similar effect by pointing the crossover null at the sidewalls which reduces reflections and provides a wide, three-dimensional sound stage and startling detail.
Sold as a mirror-image pair, B6 modules can be configured to direct bass either outward -- best for home theater uses when televisions or entertainment cabinets are between the towers -- or inward, which can help reinforce bass response.
Each B6 bass module contains two of the same high-quality 12"acoustic suspension woofer as other Evolution subwoofers, for a total of four bass drivers per tower system. Generating adequate bass response in large areas can cause significant heat build up in the woofer. The Evolution woofer features a massive motor structure and an aluminum cone attached to a large aluminum former, which together act as a heat sink to disperse excess energy before heat-generated impedance can increase, which in turn keeps system distortion low, even with high-demand material.
Like the T5, the Evolution T6 tower features a polycarbonate buttress to provide the B6 with a solid mounting platform for the M6 satellite, and includes all the necessary mounting hardware. It also offers built-in wire management that allows the entire tower to connect to the amplifier and crossover from simple near-the-floor connectors located at the back of each B6 woofer module.
Every T6 Tower system comes with two Evolution A1 Amplifiers and an X1 Active Crossover to power and control the B6 subwoofers. A set of solid aluminum stabilizer bars for the bottom of the B6 modules are also included in every T6 package.
Modern and graceful in appearance, the T6 is a truly high performance loudspeaker system capable of great finesse and detail while offering dynamic range that can achieve the sound pressure levels of a live performance. With its level of innovation and sonic capabilities, the NHT Evolution T6 may just be the most advanced tower system ever offered.

For those who prefer the placement simplicity and sound of a full frequency point-source speaker, the NHT offers the T5 Tower system.
The T5 combines the Evolution M5 monitor with its own sonically and stylistically(sp) matched powered subwoofer, the Evolution model B5 bass module. Designed for small to medium sized rooms, this tower delivers high aesthetic value, incredible output and full range response, all in one package.
The T5 also offers precise sonic imaging through a re-engineering of NHT's signature technology, Focused Image Geometry. In earlier models, NHT employed this technology structurally, using an angled front baffle to increase the ratio of direct to reflected sound by focusing the musical information toward
the listener and improving midrange response. The T5 accomplishes a similar effect by pointing the crossover null at the sidewalls which reduces reflections and provides a wide, three-dimensional sound stage and startling detail.
Built in mirror-image pairs, B5 modules can be configured to direct bass either outward -- best for home theater uses when televisions or entertainment cabinets are between the towers -- or inward, which can help reinforce bass response.
Each B5 bass module contains the same high-quality 12" acoustic suspension woofer as other Evolution subwoofers, and like them, features a massive motor structure and an aluminum cone attached to a large aluminum former, which together act as a heat sink to disperse excess energy, which can in turn raise impedance. Keeping the woofer cool even in high demand situations minimizes system distortion.
The T5 features a specially designed polycarbonate buttress to provide the B5 with a solid mounting platform for the M5 satellite, and includes all the necessary mounting hardware. It also offers a built-in wire management feature that allows connection to the amplifier and crossover from a simple near-the-floor connector located at the back of the B5 woofer module. Integrating the M5 into a tower configuration requires a minimal use of space, places the monitor at optimal listening height, and eliminates the need for speaker stands or shelves.
Every T5 Tower system includes an Evolution A1 Amplifier and an X1 Active Crossover to power and control the B5 subwoofers, and a set of solid aluminum stabilizer bars for the bottom of the B5 modules.
Beautiful in look, sound and level of innovation, the NHT Evolution T5 may just be one of the most advanced tower systems ever offered.

Designed for small to medium size rooms, this elegant compact NHT monitor integrates subtly into any room, either as a freestanding speaker or in cabinets, built-ins or on shelves. The M5 employs two 5.25" high excursion woofers, a 3" mid-range driver and a 1" neodymium metal dome tweeter which offers high output and startling detail.
Its rear panel features NHT's Boundary switch, a unique dual mode crossover with two settings, one for freestanding use and one that adjusts the M5's frequency response to compensate for the upper bass and low midrange boost that can occur near boundaries such as shelves, televisions or cabinets.
These features alone, however, reveal only the surface level of the technological innovations built into the M5 monitor.
Offering the same advanced construction and internal innovation as its larger cousin, the M6, the Evolution M5 monitor is constructed of dense 3/4" mdf which is internally laminated and is braced in two places to increase structural rigidity and reduce spurious resonances. In addition, its tweeter, featuring a rare-earth neodymium magnet structure, is attached to a solid aluminum "Wonder" bar -- a massive heatsink offering high power handling and low distortion -- which also mounts to the rear of the cabinet, further strengthening it.
The tweeter's unusually small footprint allows closer placement to the midrange driver, improving upper frequency coherence. The close proximity of mid and high frequency drivers also allows either vertical or horizontal placement with no performance compromise.
The midrange driver is itself mounted in its own small internal acoustic chamber. This chamber has non-parallel surfaces that randomize standing waves and eliminate comb-filtering -- assuring sonic clarity and detail.
Because the M5 is a 4 driver, 3-way system, power is distributed through the multiple speaker components, minimizing heat build up and distortion WHILE providing excellent dynamic range -- a significant benefit in reproducing today's demanding digital music and movie soundtrack sources.

NHT's M6, designed for the larger room in which higher output is required, is an elegant solution to integrating a more powerful monitor into a living environment. It may be used either as a freestanding speaker, in cabinets or built-ins, or on shelf systems.
The M6 features two 6.5" high excursion woofers, a 4" mid-range driver and a 1" metal dome tweeter. This driver array combines TO DELIVER substantial dynamic range with precise sonic clarity and detail.
Like the M5, its rear panel features NHT's Boundary switch, a unique dual mode crossover with two settings, one for freestanding use and one that adjusts the M6's frequency response to compensate for the upper bass and low midrange boost that can occur near boundaries such as walls, shelves, televisions or cabinets.
The advanced construction and internal technologies within the speaker enclosure itself, however, are what give this monitor its superior sound.
The Evolution M6 is constructed of dense 3/4" mdf, internally laminated and braced in two places to increase structural rigidity and reduce spurious resonances. In addition, its tweeter, featuring a rare-earth neodymium magnet structure, is attached to a solid aluminum "Wonder" bar -- a massive heatsink providing high power handling and very low distortion -- which also mounts to the rear of the cabinet, further strengthening it.
The M6 tweeter's unusually small footprint ALSO allows closer placement to the midrange driver, improving upper frequency coherence. Additionally, the close proximity of these mid and high frequency drivers allows either vertical or horizontal placement without compromising dispersion or imaging.
The midrange driver is mounted in its own, acoustically small internal chamber. This chamber is designed with non-parallel surfaces that randomize standing waves and eliminate comb-filtering -- improving midrange clarity and detail.
Because the M6 distributes the power load across four drivers, heat build up and distortion are dramatically reduced and system power response is maintained, even at high output levels -- a significant benefit in reproducing today's demanding digital music and movie soundtrack sources.
The result is a monitor that will perform appropriately for all channels -- front, center or rear -- of a surround system, regardless of placement or room size, and offer a large, three-dimensional soundstage to any room.

The U2 is a compact, two-cabinet subwoofer offering the same bass output as the U1, but made to serve different application and room requirements.
An acoustic suspension design, it has been engineered to extend the bass range of our Evolution M5 or M6 monitors, or any other monitors of similar frequency range, with tight, accurate and powerful performance, while adapting to potentially difficult placement and room conditions.
Offering front firing drivers and an unusually compact enclosure size, the U2 modules can be installed in cabinets, on low shelves, or in corners with no compromise in bass output. And in rooms where bass performance is problematic-- too much bass caused by standing waves or too little as a result of cancellation -- the dual U2 enclosures can be placed in asymmetrical positions to help improve response.
The entire U2 system consists of four matched components: two W2 subwoofer enclosures with individual bass drivers, the A1 Monaural Amplifier, and the X1 Active Crossover.
The W2 cabinets feature 12" woofers in compact 14" cubes, each delivering bass down to 25Hz. The woofer is constructed using an aluminum cone attached to an aluminum former (the cylinder on which the voice coil is wound). This assembly acts as a massive heat sink which reduces distortion and heat buildup under demanding loads.
The A1 monaural amplifier deliver 250 watts rms to the W2 enclosures. The A1 is a Class G design, known for efficiency and cooler operation than many other amplifier designs.
The X1 Active Crossover provides fine tuning of the U2 subwoofer system, allowing seamless integration with Evolution and other satellites and helping eliminate many common low frequency problems caused by room interaction.
This unique combination of electronics and high tech double-cabinet woofer design offers tight, articulate bass for music reproduction, the high output and dynamic range needed for the full enjoyment of movie soundtracks, and a smooth and even bass response from anywhere in the listening room.
